Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on https://tidalabundance.com, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
The short version
This website sets no cookies for visitors and loads no analytics, advertising, or social media scripts. Fonts are served from this site rather than a font network. Nothing you do here is sent to a third party for tracking.
The only thing stored in your browser is your own light or dark theme choice, and — if you use the controls below — a record of the cookie preferences you set. Both stay on your device.
What is stored in your browser
- Theme preference. A `theme` value holding either `light` or `dark`, written only when you use the theme toggle. It is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- Your cookie preferences. A `consent` value recording the choices you make on this page, so we do not ask again on every visit. Also local storage, also never transmitted.
- Content editing session. If you are a site editor signed in to the content management system, standard session cookies are set to keep you signed in and to preview unpublished drafts. This never applies to ordinary visitors.
Because both stored values live in your browser rather than on our servers, clearing your site data removes them completely, and your choices do not follow you to another browser or device.
Categories
We group storage into four categories. You can change all of them except the first.
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to load and stay secure. Always on.
- Functional. Remembers preferences you set yourself — today only your theme choice. Turning this off means the theme toggle still works, but your choice will not survive a reload, and any stored theme is deleted.
- Analytics. Would let us measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Nothing is running under this category today. The control exists so your choice is already on record if we ever add it.
- Advertising and targeting. Would allow tailored advertising and the sharing of data that some US state privacy laws treat as a sale. Nothing is running under this category today.
We would rather list an empty category honestly than describe tracking we do not do. If that changes, this page and the "last updated" date change with it, and nothing in a category you have declined will run.
Global Privacy Control
We recognise and honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or an extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising under applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act.
When we detect GPC we switch the advertising and targeting category off, lock it so it cannot be enabled by accident, and skip the consent banner entirely — you have already answered. You will see a confirmation in the panel below when this applies. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Managing your choices
Use the panel below, or the same controls on our Your Privacy Choices page. You can change your mind at any time.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because this site sets no visitor cookies, doing so will not affect how it works.
